How has the chocolate industry in Bulgaria changed over the last 10 years?
It is still sweet and delicious! And the changes follow the dynamics of the accelerated technological boom in which we all live, so our industry, like many others, is becoming smarter and greener. High technologies are being actively implemented, the latest generation machines we work with already use artificial intelligence and automation of production for an optimization and efficiency of processes, ergonomics in the workplace and environmental friendly production. Innovation is also widely used to create new products that meet the growing demands of consumers.
According to the latest forecasts, in 2021 the Sofia plant will produce 16,700 tons of chocolate products, of which over 90% are for export to over 35 countries worldwide.
