With another 87 tons of CO2 emissions saved for the year from sustainable pallets and logistics, the company actively contributes to the fight against climate change

Nestlé Bulgaria saved 10,000 tons of carbon emissions by purchasing 100% green electricity for 2022. The 12,000 MWh used are entirely from renewable sources - solar energy, wind and water plants. The certificate issued by ENEGO-PRO Energy Services for the second year in a row guarantees that Nestlé Bulgaria promotes green production with care for the nature of our country.

Along with this, the company also contributes to reducing its carbon footprint through the use of sustainable pallets and logistics, certified for the first time by the Commonwealth Handling Equipment Pool (CHEP) certificate, part of the Brambles group. The company has saved 87 tons of carbon emissions for the year 2021 alone, which equates to 79,666 km. fewer truck kilometers traveled or nearly twice the geographical circumference of the earth.
