Sustainable water management is of key importance for the future of people and the planet. That is why Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria actively participated in the Maritsa Forum | National Policies and Local Solutions for Water Resources, organized by the National Development Network, BG Be Active, Plovdiv – a City for People, the Sofia Team and the Municipality of Plovdiv.

During the forum, Jacqueline Tsocheva, Director of Corporate Communications, Regulatory Affairs and Sustainable Development, presented the company’s good practices, which demonstrate how business can be part of the sustainable solution through:

1.Efficient use and reuse of water in the Coca-Cola HBC production centers;

2. Infrastructure projects in Kostinbrod and Bankya, improving access to drinking water for local communities;

3. The My Green City initiative, which has been uniting volunteers in caring for nature for 18 years;

4. Participation in the second phase of the Living Danube partnership, launched by WWF Central and Eastern Europe and The Coca-Cola Foundation, which aims to promote good water management and explore new opportunities for collective action.

Coca-Cola HBC believes that every drop counts – and that through collaboration we can achieve real change.
