Members of the Food Drink Bulgaria Association are among the biggest donors for 2023 to the Bulgarian Food Bank said the Organization's report.

Danon Serdika, Mondelez Bulgaria were awarded the highest award "Food donors, recipients of an honorary diploma for their contribution to "Saving good food".

The award for "Special Operations for their logistic support" was given to Danone Serdica and Mondelez Bulgaria.

Among the big donors last year are other members of the Food Drink Bulgaria Association - Nestlé and Dairy Day.

The Bulgarian food bank saved 165,000 kilograms of food products worth BGN 2,247 million from destruction last year. This is about 25% more compared to 2022, and in terms of weight, the increase is over 11%, reported Ilian Yordanov, operations manager of the organization.
